Formed in 2016 to promote health through a whole food plant-based lifestyle. 

Now an independent member organization of PCRMs

Building Healthy Communities program, supporting health and wellbeing through plant-based nutrition.

 

What is whole food plant-based?

  • Whole plant based foods are  those that are minimally processed

  • Abundant in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, legumes and beans

  • Avoids animal products (meat, dairy and eggs)

  • Low in sugar and salt

  • Avoids refined products such as flours, oils and sweeteners
