About Us

Heartland Rooted Quad Cities is a PlantPure Nation Pod and not-for-profit organization formed to promote health through a whole food plant-based lifestyle.  It is a community for like-minded individuals that provides support services and spreads the message of plant based nutrition.  

What is whole food plant-based eating?

PlantPure Nation defines a whole food plant based diet as:

  • Whole foods that are minimally processed

  • Abundant in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, legumes and beans

  • No animal products (meat, dairy and eggs)

  • Low in sugar and salt

  • No processed oils

  • No white flour
